KEK GULUNG

Hmmmm .... very delicious. Usually people called this cake as Swiss Roll Batik. When Mak Lang of RNet post this recipe, I feel so excited to try & test. So inilah hasilnya. Thank you Mak Lang for posting this recipe at RNet as well as photo steps by steps in your fotopages. The cake is soooo soft & fluffy.
My children love them !!!!!!



Usually if you buy this cake kat kedai, they will used vanilla cream or chocolate cream. But for my cake, as recommended by Mak Lang, I put jem anggur (beli kat kedai aje RM3.20 satu botol) and it really tastes good.


For those yg nak try this recipe, pls find below:

KEK GULUNG - sumber apek FnR

Bahan-bahan:

6 biji telur gred A / B (tak pasti yatie pakai Gred berapa)

4 oz gula castor

1 sudu teh baking powder

1 sudu teh esen vanilla

1 sudu besar ovalet

3 oz tepung gandum

1 sudu besar susu tepung (Yatie pakai susu tepung anak aje)

4 oz mentega cair

sedikit cokelat emulco

jem mengikut kesukaan

Cara-cara:

1. Telur, gula, ovalet, baking powder, esen vanilla, tepung gandum & susu tepung dicampur & digaul dgn kelajuan maksima sehingga gebu (5 - 7 minit)

2. Masukkan mentega cair & kacau rata

3. Asingkan sedikit adunan & campurkan coklat emulco. kacau rata & masukkan ke dlm piping bag.

4. Tuangkan lebihan adunan yg banyak tadi ke dlm loyang & ratakan permukaannya.

5. Paipkan adunan cokelat tadi mengikut corak batik (Yatie belasah ikut kreativiti sendiri .... heheheheh)

6. Bakar dlm oven selama 20 minit - 170C atau mengikut kesesuaian oven masing-masing (tengok-tengok le oven tu jgn sampai rentung plak keknya)

7. Angkat kek yg sudah masak & terbalikkan. Sapu rata jem atasnya & mulalah menggulung perlahan-lahan sehingga kemas
